Steps

  • Slice and dice the chillies and add them to a small pan with the honey and 5ml of lime juice.
  • Bring the mixture to a bubble on the hob and simmer for 4 minutes while stirring frequently.
  • Arrange salad leaves on two plates and drizzle with olive oil and lime wedges.
  • Heat a heavy frying pan and dry-fry the halloumi slices for 60 seconds per side until bronzed.
  • Place the halloumi on the plates and spoon the hot chilli honey glaze over the cheese.
