Steps

  • Mix the white and wholemeal flours, salt, sugar, and yeast in a bowl.
  • Gradually stir the warm water into a well in the center until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth.
  • Divide the dough into three balls, knead fillings into each, and split into six buns total.
  • Place buns on a greased tray, put in a cold oven, then bake at 230°C for 20 minutes.
