Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Cut a pastry round slightly larger than your small oven-proof frying pan.
  • Melt the butter and sugar in the frying pan over medium heat.
  • Add the halved figs cut-side down and cook for four minutes until caramelised.
  • Place the pastry over the figs and cut a small air hole in the centre.
  • Bake in the oven for ten minutes until the pastry is golden.
  • Turn the tatin out onto a plate and serve with Greek yoghurt.
