Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 220°C and heat two baking trays inside.
  • Simmer tomatoes, herbs, sugar, and grated garlic in a saucepan for 10 minutes.
  • Season the sauce with salt and pepper and let it cool.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and yoghurt in a bowl to form a dough.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and divide into four circles.
  • Place dough circles on hot baking trays and bake for 4 minutes.
  • Flip the bases, spread with sauce, and top with mozzarella and extra herbs.
  • Bake for 5 minutes until the base is crisp and cheese has melted.
