Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Prepare apples and place them in a shallow ovenproof dish.
  • Mix apple chunks with orange zest and juice.
  • Add rosemary, blackberries, water, and caster sugar to the apples.
  • Pulse almonds, flour, polenta, butter, and muscovado sugar in a food processor.
  • Transfer to a bowl, add a splash of water, and mix until clumpy.
  • Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the fruit.
  • Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
  • Reduce heat to 180°C and bake for another 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Serve warm with cream or custard.
