Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 190°C and line a 20cm square baking tin with parchment.
  • Melt the dark chocolate and butter together over a pan of simmering water.
  • Whisk the eggs until light and beat in the sugar until fluffy.
  • Mix the flour, baking powder, and walnuts in a separate bowl.
  • Stir the melted chocolate, flour mixture, milk chocolate, cherries, and salt into the eggs.
  • Pour the batter into the tin and bake for 40 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely in the tin.
  • Cut into squares and serve with cream, berries, mint, and icing sugar.
