Steps

  • Heat the groundnut oil in a large frying pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the chicken strips for 3 to 4 minutes until they turn white and are almost cooked.
  • Add the garlic, ginger, star anise, and chilli and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Add mangetout, pak choi, spring onions, and mushrooms and stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Toss with soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, and fresh herbs then serve immediately.
