Steps

  • Boil noodles for 3 minutes until al dente, drain, rinse with cold water, and toss with sesame oil.
  • Season chicken strips with soy sauce, five-spice, and chilli sauce, then dust with cornflour.
  • Stir-fry chicken in groundnut oil in a smoking hot wok for 4 minutes until golden-brown.
  • Add sliced red pepper for 1 minute, then add bean sprouts and spring onion for 30 seconds.
  • Stir in the cooked noodles, soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper, then serve immediately.
