Steps

  • Mix the cream, quark, and caster sugar together in a bowl.
  • Cut two rounds from the cake slices using a deep chefs' ring.
  • Press one cake round into the base of the ring and drizzle with white wine.
  • Layer half the cream mixture followed by a layer of cherries.
  • Press the second cake round on top and finish with remaining cream and cherries.
  • Remove the ring carefully and garnish with a mint leaf.
