Steps

  • Boil the cassava for 20 minutes.
  • Drain the cassava and let it dry in a colander for five minutes.
  • Mash the cassava using a manual masher.
  • Add the cheese, eggs, herbs, and seasoning to the mash and mix well.
  • Heat a pan of oil until very hot.
  • Shape the dough into dumplings using two dry spoons.
  • Fry the dumplings in batches for at least five minutes until golden.
  • Check if done and serve with salsa or soup.
