Steps

  • Heat the sugar, vanilla essence, and 15 ml of hot water in a pan until it forms a caramel.
  • Add the sliced bananas to the pan and shake to coat them in the caramel.
  • Add the butter to the pan and heat for another 2 minutes.
  • Transfer the bananas to a plate and drizzle with double cream to serve.
