Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Fry the ham in olive oil until crispy, add sage, and drain on kitchen paper.
  • Mix squash, onion, cheese, ham, sage, seasoning, and cream in a bowl.
  • Cut four circles from the pastry sheets on a floured surface.
  • Whisk the egg with a teaspoon of water to create an egg wash.
  • Fill pastry circles with the mixture, seal edges with egg wash, and crimp with a fork.
  • Brush tops with egg wash and bake at 200°C for 10 minutes.
  • Reduce heat to 180°C and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden.
