Steps

  • Heat the oil in a pan over a medium heat.
  • Add the mustard seeds once the oil is hot enough for them to pop.
  • Add the chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt to the pan.
  • Fry the spice mixture for 1 minute.
  • Add the 350g of potatoes and fry for 4 minutes until the edges are crispy.
  • Cover the pan and cook on low heat for a further 5 minutes.
  • Serve the potatoes immediately.
