Steps

  • Cook sliced apples, sugar, and liqueur in a pan over medium heat for 6 minutes until softened.
  • Cool the apple mixture and fold in the fresh blackberries.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Place the fruit on four pastry rectangles, leaving a 2cm border.
  • Cut lattice slits into the remaining pastry pieces using a cutter or knife.
  • Brush borders with egg, Top with lattice pastry, and seal the edges.
  • Brush the tops with egg and sprinkle with extra sugar.
  • Bake for 20 minutes until the pastry is golden and puffed.
  • Serve the warm pastries with ice cream.
