Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 220°C.
  • Blend flour, butter, and salt in a food processor until the mixture looks like breadcrumbs.
  • Add one egg and milk, blending until a thick dough forms.
  • Roll dough on a floured surface to 0.5cm thick and cut into ten 5cm rounds.
  • Place steak and Stilton onto the rounds and season with salt and pepper.
  • Fold the dough into half-moon shapes and pinch the edges to seal.
  • Brush each turnover with the remaining beaten egg.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until golden-brown and cooked through.
  • Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
