Method

Heat a frying pan over medium heat and cook the butter, sugar, and cinnamon until the sugar melts.

Stir in the banana liqueur and add the banana pieces.

Cook and stir carefully until the bananas soften and begin to turn golden-brown.

Add the rum and stir to combine.

Increase the heat and carefully flambé the rum until the flames die out.

Serve by placing one scoop of ice cream on each plate, topped with bananas and pan sauce.
