Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Place the papaya halves cut side up into a small baking tray.
  • Melt 15g of butter in a saucepan and stir in lime juice and sugar until dissolved.
  • Pour the glaze over the papaya and add lemon wedges to the tray.
  • Bake for 6 to 8 minutes until the papaya becomes tender.
  • Transfer the papaya and roasted lemon wedges to a serving plate.
  • Heat the baking tray over a medium flame with a splash of water and the remaining butter.
  • Drizzle the pan juices over the papaya and serve with a dollop of yoghurt.
