Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 150°C.
  • Soak the mixed dried fruit and brandy in a bowl for at least two hours.
  • Add the sugar, allspice, and butter to the soaked fruit mixture.
  • Fill the cored apples with the fruit mixture and spread extra butter on top.
  • Place apples in an ovenproof dish, cover with foil, and bake for 40 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for 15 to 20 minutes more until the apples are soft.
  • Serve warm on plates with a dollop of Greek yoghurt.
