Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Cut a 20cm square out of the ready-rolled puff pastry.
  • Place asparagus in the center and top with goat cheese, basil, salt, and pepper.
  • Fold the four corners of the pastry square toward the middle.
  • Score the top with a knife, brush with beaten egg, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Bake on a baking sheet for 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Reduce the wine in a saucepan by half over high heat.
  • Add the cream and heat through, then season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve the pastry parcel on a plate drizzled with the sauce.
