Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Place apple slices, lemon juice, 100g sugar, and 90ml water into a flameproof casserole.
  • Boil the mixture on the stove then bake for 20 minutes until apples are tender.
  • Rub butter into the flour, oats, 150g sugar, walnuts, and seeds until small clumps form.
  • Spread topping on a tray and bake for 20 minutes until golden.
  • Break up the topping and sprinkle it over the hot apples.
