Steps

  • Mix all ingredients in a large bowl keeping yeast away from the salt.
  • Knead the dough until it becomes elastic, smooth, and shiny.
  • Cover with cling film and allow the dough to rise for 1 hour.
  • Line a baking tin with parchment paper.
  • Mould the dough into a sausage shape and place it in the tin.
  • Preheat the oven to 220°C.
  • Leave the dough to rise for another 30 to 60 minutes.
  • Bake the loaf in the oven for 35 minutes.
  • Remove the bread from the tin and check for a hollow sound when tapped.
  • Let the bread cool completely on a wire rack.
