Steps

  • Boil 150ml of water with salt and stir in the oats.
  • Simmer covered for 15-20 minutes, transfer to a bowl, and preheat oven to 180°C.
  • Add the soaked bulgur wheat and any remaining soaking water to the bowl.
  • Sauté minced garlic, chopped onions, and pimentos in olive oil until soft.
  • Mix the sautéed vegetables and herbs into the grain bowl and season to taste.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 1 hour.
