Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Rub oil into the steak and season with salt and pepper.
  • Griddle the steak in a smoking pan for 1-2 minutes per side.
  • Add butter to the pan during the final minute and baste the meat.
  • Transfer the steak to a warm plate to rest.
  • Fry the prawns in the same pan with olive oil for 1-2 minutes until pink.
  • Drizzle the tomato with oil and roast for 10-12 minutes until tender.
  • Serve the steak with the prawns and roasted tomato on the side.
