Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a small ovenproof dish.
  • Butter the bread and cut each slice into four triangles.
  • Whisk the egg in a jug, then whisk in the milk, sugar and cinnamon.
  • Place four bread triangles in the dish, layer with bananas and raisins, then top with remaining bread.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the bread and sprinkle with a little extra sugar.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden-brown and cooked through.
