Preheat the oven to 200°C and sift flour over a large baking tray.
Mix white flour, wholemeal flour, sugar, bicarbonate of soda, and salt in a bowl.
Combine yogurt and milk in a jug until the mixture is smooth.
Make a well in the flour and gradually stir in the milk mixture until combined.
Knead the dough for two minutes until it becomes light and spongy.
Divide the dough into six portions and roll them into balls.
Flatten the balls on the baking tray until they are 4cm deep.
Brush rolls with milk and bake for 25 to 35 minutes until golden-brown.
Cool the rolls on a wire rack before serving.
