Medium-sized, flesh scooped out and chopped, fibres removed; seeds toasted and reserved for garnish

Steps

  • Steam the chopped pumpkin over simmering water for 20 minutes until tender.
  • Blend the cooled pumpkin with orange juice, allspice, and honey until smooth.
  • Mix 500ml of pumpkin purée with pineapple juice, grenadine, and crushed ice in a jug.
  • Chill the mixture in the fridge for at least one hour.
  • Pour mixture into a large bowl and top with 1L of lemonade.
  • Ladle into cups and garnish with Halloween jellies and toasted seeds.
