Steps

  • Boil four eggs in water for five minutes, cool in cold water, and peel carefully.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Mix the meat from the sausages with the chopped apple in a bowl.
  • Divide the sausage mixture into four portions and flatten into patties.
  • Whisk the remaining egg with salt, nutmeg, and milk to create an egg wash.
  • Mould each sausage patty gently around a soft-boiled egg.
  • Trim excess meat while ensuring the egg is completely sealed.
  • Dredge the eggs in salted flour, dip in egg wash, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Heat oil to 180°C and fry eggs in batches for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Transfer to a baking tray and bake for 10 minutes.
