Steps

  • Combine 200g flour and 0.25 tsp salt in a large bowl.
  • Trickle 100ml warm water into the bowl gradually while mixing by hand.
  • Add 2 tbsp oil and knead until the dough becomes soft and not too sticky.
  • Continue kneading the dough for five minutes on a clean surface.
  • Let the dough stand for 30 minutes if time allows.
  • Divide the dough into four equal-sized balls.
  • Roll each ball into a thin circle using a rolling pin and a dusting of flour.
  • Heat a frying pan and grease it lightly with oil using kitchen paper.
  • Cook each flatbread for two minutes on one side until it puffs slightly.
  • Flip the bread and cook for two more minutes until brown spots appear.
  • Wrap the cooked flatbreads in foil to keep them warm.
