Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
  • Fry the pork rind in olive oil in an ovenproof pan until crisp.
  • Brown both sides of the chops and remove them from the pan.
  • Sauté the onion, apple wedges, sage, and juniper berries in the pork juices.
  • Return the chops to the pan with the whole apples.
  • Pour the cider over the ingredients.
  • Bake in the oven for 30 minutes until the pork and apples are cooked.
