Steps

  • Place flour in a bowl and make a well in the centre.
  • Mix yeast paste, oil, salt, pepper, egg, and 60ml hot water into the flour.
  • Knead on a floured surface for 3 minutes until dough is no longer sticky.
  • Shape dough into a ball, cover, and let stand for 30 minutes.
  • Oil a baking sheet and preheat oven to 250°C.
  • Knead dough again and flatten into a round shape with your fingers.
  • Place dough on sheet and spread to a 30cm diameter round.
  • Top with tomatoes, capers, mozzarella, olives, oregano, garlic, and seasoning.
  • Sprinkle with oil and bake for 20 minutes.
