Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 110°C and line two baking sheets with parchment.
  • Slice the pears into thin rounds using a mandolin or sharp knife.
  • Lay the pear slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheets.
  • Stir the sugar and ginger together and sprinkle over each pear slice.
  • Bake for three hours, turning the slices over halfway through the cooking time.
  • Remove the crisps from the oven and allow them to cool completely.
  • Shake the remaining ginger sugar from the sheet over the cooled pear crisps.
