Steps

  • Sift the flour and salt into a mixing bowl and create a well in the center.
  • Break the eggs into the well and whisk together with the flour.
  • Combine the milk and water in a separate jug.
  • Gradually whisk the liquid into the flour mixture to create a smooth batter.
  • Melt 30g of butter and stir it into the batter.
  • Melt a small amount of the remaining butter in a frying pan to coat the bottom.
  • Pour 30ml of batter into the pan and tilt to cover the base.
  • Cook for one minute, flip, and cook the other side for 30 seconds.
  • Serve warm filled with fresh fruit and maple syrup.
