Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Chop the nuts roughly and toast them on a baking sheet for 8 minutes.
  • Melt the chocolate and butter in a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water.
  • Beat the melted mixture until smooth and remove from the heat.
  • Stir in the remaining ingredients until thoroughly blended.
  • Spread the mixture into a lined 18x28cm tin and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Cool for 10 minutes in the tin before cutting into 15 squares and transferring to a wire rack.
