Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Melt the butter, sugar, and maple syrup in a large pan.

Add the oats, sultanas, and chopped apricots to the pan.

Sprinkle over the ground almonds and stir the mixture well.

Press the mixture evenly into a lined baking tray.

Scatter the sliced figs and a drizzle of maple syrup over the top.

Bake the flapjacks for 25 to 30 minutes until golden.
