Steps

  • Scrub and wash the new potatoes and place them into a saucepan.
  • Cover the potatoes with 2l water and add the garlic, bay leaves, thyme, bouillon, and salt.
  • Bring the water to a boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer.
  • Cook the potatoes for approximately 20 minutes.
  • Drain the potatoes and crush them lightly with a masher or fork.
  • Mix in 100g butter and season with salt and pepper.
