Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Pulse butter and flour in a food processor until breadcrumbs form.
  • Add caster sugar and most of the egg, pulsing into a soft dough.
  • Roll dough into a circle on a floured surface.
  • Place pear in the centre, wrap with dough, and seal with remaining egg.
  • Brush with egg, sprinkle cinnamon and sugar, then bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Simmer cocoa, water, and brown sugar in a pan for 4 minutes until smooth.
  • Spoon whipped cream onto a plate and drizzle with chocolate sauce.
  • Place the pear in the centre and garnish with mint.
