Steps

  • Grease dariole moulds with softened butter and dust with cocoa powder.
  • Chill the prepared moulds in the fridge.
  • Melt the chocolate and butter together over a bain-marie.
  • Whisk the eggs, egg yolks, and caster sugar together in a bowl.
  • Mix the melted chocolate and butter slowly into the egg mixture.
  • Fold the mealie meal and flour gradually into the chocolate mixture.
  • Fill the moulds three-quarters full and bake at 200°C for approximately 7 minutes.
  • Serve the puddings immediately with ice cream.
