Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Mix the butter, sugar, water, and egg together in a large bowl.
  • Sift in the flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, and salt and mix into a dough.
  • Fold the chocolate chips into the dough.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into 10cm circles.
  • Decorate with sugar-coated chocolates and place on a greased baking tray.
  • Bake for 9-10 minutes until cooked through.
  • Combine sauce ingredients in a pan over low heat and cook for 4-5 minutes until thick.
  • Sandwich ice cream between two cookies and drizzle with chocolate sauce.
