Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 220°C.
  • Melt 55g of butter in an ovenproof frying pan and add the chopped apples.
  • Sprinkle sugar over apples and cook for 3 minutes until lightly caramelised.
  • Blend all batter ingredients in a food processor until smooth.
  • Spoon the batter over the apples in the pan.
  • Bake for 15 minutes until risen and golden-brown.
  • Dust with icing sugar and serve hot with cream.
