Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Melt the butter in a small ovenproof frying pan.
  • Add the apple flesh-side down and fry for two minutes.
  • Flip the apple, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, and bake for 10-12 minutes until soft.
  • Heat sugar, cinnamon, and butter in a separate frying pan for 3-4 minutes to caramelize.
  • Stir in the double cream and heat until the sauce thickens.
  • Serve the baked apple on a warm plate topped with the sauce.
