Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 210°C and line a baking tray with non-stick parchment.
  • Grind the spices in a pestle and mortar to a coarse powder.
  • Blend the spice powder with the stock cube, salt, and sugar in a food processor.
  • Melt the butter with 90ml of water and the sesame oil.
  • Combine the butter mixture with the spices, garlic, and flour in a bowl.
  • Roll the dough on a floured surface to 0.5cm thickness and prick with a fork.
  • Cut the dough into 5cm circles and place them on the baking tray.
  • Bake for 9 to 12 minutes until golden-brown and crisp.
